Android App Data & Privacy

A readable summary of data used by the Khmer Travels app.

Last updated: 2026-09-30

Data categories

Depending on the features you use, Khmer Travels handles contact details, account identifiers, booking and payment history, traveller/passport information, uploaded photos or documents, and support messages. IP addresses and technical request logs support security. Optional saved items and language preferences stay on the device. Card details are entered with the payment provider. Data is used for app functionality, account management, customer support and security.

Sharing and choices

Necessary information is sent to the travel, payment and infrastructure providers involved in your request. Requests to Khmer Travels use HTTPS. This release has no advertising tracking, precise-location collection or native analytics SDK. The full privacy policy explains use, retention and your choices. Account deletion is available online and inside the app. Store privacy labels must be completed for the actual release, including embedded website and third-party processing; this page does not replace the store declarations.

AI chat, images and audio

Chat is optional and requires your agreement before sending. Your message, up to ten recent text messages, selected images and voice recordings are sent through our server to OpenAI for answers and audio transcription. Do not send passport numbers, passwords or payment details. AI answers can be incorrect and do not confirm bookings, payment or visa eligibility. Chat content is held in app memory; New chat, sign-out or closing the app clears it. Our server does not save ordinary chat text or media. If you choose Report reply, the selected AI answer, report reason and your account identifier are saved for our team to review. Other messages and attachments are not included in a report. It stores account-linked usage time, completion status and attachment counts for support and abuse prevention. OpenAI processes requests under its own data policies; see OpenAI API data controls. Account deletion removes account-linked chat usage and reports, device tokens, notification receipts and targeted inbox messages. Global travel announcements remain public to signed-in customers.
